Perspective Plan

2018-19 To 2022-2023

Perspective plan of an educational institution is a strategic framework of various schemes and projects, short term as well as long term, designed for the systematic progress of the institution towards achieving its goals and objectives and our institution, the only college for girls in the district, accordingly has made strategic planning in keeping with the vision and mission of the college to achieve its aim of making the institution more and more learner-centric in a fast changing world. IQAC has been entrusted with the preparation of the short term perspective plan for the Academic Year 2022-2023  and a long-term plan for five years from 2018-2023, reflecting the vision and mission of the college and the various parameters set by UGC and NEP 2020 which enunciates guidelines for HEIs to achieve the higher level academic goals—Sustainable Development Goals( SDGS), National Credit Framework( NCrF), and Integration with Academic Bank of Credits with emphasis on promoting multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary learning system. Krishnagar Women’s College recognizes the need to adapt and ideate the new framework as envisioned by NEP 2020 and is all set to prepare and its own Institutional Development Plan and mechanisms for successful deployment of the plan.

The Core Strategic Plan for the holistic development of the institution is chalked out by the IQAC. At the beginning of each Academic Year, IQAC starts collecting inputs from the stakeholders for ensuring the overall quality enhancement of the academic and administrative environment of the college. After a careful scrutiny of the inputs received, the perspective plan is prepared taking into account the interests of the stakeholders and the society in general and placed before the Governing Body for approval and execution of the same throughout the entire period. It is also responsible for making a final review of the outcome of the perspective plan and assessment of how far the target is fulfilled within the given time.

Perspective Plan of the institution is framed after taking stock of the Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Challenges, the recommendations of the Administrative and Audit Committee and feedbacks received from the stakeholders. A detailed outline of the plan, short term and long term, is developed; the institution executes the plan of action and subsequently makes a review of the entire process. An integrated approach is made to achieve and sustain the institutional growth through this perspective plan and Institutional Development Plan in keeping with NEP 2020.The thrust areas of the Perspective Plan include academic process, Governance, Research and Intellectual Property, Collaborative enterprises, Societal Connect, Digital Transformation, Development of Infrastructure, participation and attaining  ranking in NIRF.
